Come along and learn some of the basic smocking stitches from our friendly members. You will be supplied with a pleated sampler, needle and a packet of stranded thread for $5. As well you may like to purchase a small “Learn to smock” booklet for an additional $5. Bring along your usual sewing necessities scissors, sewing glasses etc as well as a mug and lunch. Morning tea will be provided. We will have some items for sale and also a lovely display of our work.
No booking required, just come along to the Mathews Room.
